“This rig has served us well at numerous high-profile live events in and around Miami,” reported Harold Cummings of Drummer Boy Sound. “We have reliable, high quality performance at every step of the signal path, from the EV wireless mics to the Midas and KT gear, to the plug and play Cobra line-array. Event Producer Juan Garcia readily accepted our spec knowing we’d deliver the very best sound quality available in a smaller footprint package. Our load-in went very quickly, as usual. Carl Fermin, Manager at Sobe Live, couldn't believe how quick it took us to put up such a powerful system.
"Soundchecks were scheduled from 10am to 2pm. The rig performed so well that whatever each artist needed was dialed in quickly and precisely, meaning all three soundchecks only took an hour! The system performed from 10am that until 10 pm with no problems at all. Come showtime, all three artists’ performances went flawlessly, with not an ounce of feedback. The Midas Venice console and EV wireless combo delivered the warm, clear vocals that are so essential to us making a lasting impression with our clients.”
“We heard great things about the sound from all corners,” Cummings continued. “Christina Milian told us the sound was perfect, Lola was blown away by how loud and clear the EV QRx stage monitors were and Rihanna was amazed by how she was able to walk and stand comfortably in front of the Cobra stacks. Juan Garcia was particularly impressed with the power, clarity and precise coverage the Cobra system allows, all whilst keeping the club sightlines open. Plus, from our point of view in the mix position, this is one of the first times we got to use our Klark Teknik DN370 in such a tight area with so much output. It’s a great addition to our tried and tested Cobra/EV/Midas setup. The unit performed flawlessly and I can't wait to order in more. We love this rig!”
