Dynacord presents V600:4, the new go-to multi-channel power amplifier for commercial installations

With the V600:4, Dynacord opens a new amplifier line aimed at small to mid-sized installation scenarios — education, hospitality, retail, houses of worship, and more. The four-channel amplifier delivers a total of 600 watts and is positioned as a go-to choice for consultants, specifiers, and installers looking for a robust, versatile amplifier that is quick to install and runs trouble-free, even under demanding power conditions.

The chassis measures 1RU to keep rack space to a minimum. Dynacord engineering — one of the most experienced research teams in the audio industry — developed the amplifier technologies inside it, pairing professional performance with resource-efficient power consumption at an accessible price point.

The V600:4 offers high flexibility across applications through multiple power drive options built on Dynacord's patented VLD (Variable Load Drive) technology, which lets channels run at 4 ohms, 8 ohms, 70 V, or 100 V without compromising available output power.

Dynacord's newly developed powerTANK technology works like a power reservoir, giving the amplifier direct access to the full 600 watts and the ability to deliver asymmetric power across channels as needed. A single V600:4 can drive compact loudspeakers in a small zone such as a lounge area and larger loudspeakers in a space such as an auditorium at the same time. The feature requires no special configuration — powerTANK engages automatically.

ecoRAIL reduces overall power consumption to near-standby levels while still delivering background music, lowering the total cost of ownership and supporting compliance with environmental regulations. APD (Auto Power Down) adds further efficiency by powering the amplifier down when no audio signal is present, with auto wake-up returning it to full operation as soon as a signal is detected.

Like all Dynacord amplifiers, the V600:4 is built to last, with protection circuitry and sophisticated limiters drawn from Dynacord's high-end amplifier lines to guard both the amplifier and the connected loudspeakers from damage. The unit's new dualCOOL technology runs convection-cooled and silent, activating a multi-stage fan only under extreme thermal conditions to maintain full operation at temperatures up to 45°C. Power Factor Correction (PFC) supports performance under unstable power conditions with large voltage swings.

The Dynacord V600:4 power amplifier will be available in spring 2023.
