Dynacord expands its V Series amplifier line with compact V600:2 two-channel model
Dynacord has added the V600:2 to its V Series — a 600-watt, two-channel amplifier for small to mid-sized fixed installations. Revealed at ISE 2024, it carries the same technologies as the four-channel V600:4 in a more compact package.
Dynacord has introduced the V600:2, a 600-watt two-channel amplifier that extends its V Series family for small to mid-sized fixed installations. The model was revealed at ISE 2024, with availability set for spring 2024.
The V600:2 is built for background music and announcements as well as applications that call for higher sound pressure levels — educational facilities, hospitality venues, retail areas, and houses of worship. It shares the same features and technologies as the four-channel V600:4, so system integrators can mix and match V Series amplifiers across a single project.
The amplifier occupies one rack unit in height and half a rack width, which opens up flexible mounting — including under-counter installation. Two units fit side by side in a single rack space.
V Series technologies on board
powerTANK acts as a power reservoir, giving the V600:2 direct access to its full 600 watts and allowing asymmetric power allocation across channels as needed. Dynacord's patented Variable Load Drive (VLD) lets the channels run at 4 ohms, 8 ohms, 70 V, or 100 V without affecting output power.
Energy use is held down by ecoRAIL, with Auto Power Down (APD) shutting the amplifier off when no audio signal is present. The V600:2 also includes dualCOOL for silent operation and Power Factor Correction (PFC).
