Built as an open architecture audio matrix, the MXE5 is a control center for large-scale installed and live sound. Its 24x24 crosspoint matrix supports up to 3,840 cross-points and 256 internal signal paths, with 12 mic/line inputs and 8 line outputs, plus OMNEO and Dante networking for seamless integration into any system design.

Onboard DSP blocks — including EQ, FIR-Drive, compression, ducking, auto mixing, and ambient noise control — run at 96 kHz with under 0.22 ms latency. The MXE5's TaskEngine handles system-wide logic and scheduling, while full integration with SONICUE software and third-party plug-ins keeps every zone under one roof.
